Having gained an honours degree from Birmingham University in English and Media Studies, Ellen joined the BBC in London for six years as a producer, director and script editor (and BBC riding club competitor). Moving to Goodmerry Farm brought the chance to gain the BHS Stage Three Instructor qualification, which includes BHS levels 1-3 Horse Care and Stable Management.

Paul returned to farming after gaining an engineering degree from Leeds University. He administers the farm’s production of hay, haylage and straw, and cereals.

We have one part-time and two full-time employees who provide farm and retirement horsecare.
